About EPR

Ex-Service Personnel Reunion (EPR)

Ex-Service Personnel Reunion (EPR) was founded in 2010 to reconnect serving and former members of the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force who may have lost touch over the years.

Our mission is to bring together like-minded people who have proudly served their nation, along with families, friends and supporters from the wider community; locally, nationally and internationally.

Mission Statement

Founded in 2010, the Ex-Service Personnel Reunion (EPR) is dedicated to reuniting serving and former members of the Royal Navy, Army, and Royal Air Force who may have lost contact over the years. Our mission is to foster camaraderie and mutual support by providing opportunities for ex-service personnel to reconnect, share experiences, and strengthen bonds forged through shared service. We are committed to honouring the spirit of fellowship and service that unites all who have served, ensuring no one is forgotten or left behind.

The History of Ex-Service Personnel Reunion (EPR)

Comradeship, Reminiscence, and Celebration – A Fifteen-Year Journey

The Ex-Service Personnel Reunion (EPR) is a distinguished annual event that has become a cherished tradition among former service members. Its origins are humble, rooted in casual conversations between two colleagues, who, over drinks and friendly banter, pondered the idea of organising a more structured get-together for ex-service personnel. What began as informal gatherings in various London locations, where friends would turn up throughout the day to greet whoever was present, soon transformed into something much more significant.

Acknowledgements and Looking Ahead

Such achievements would not have been possible without the tireless dedication of all the committee members, past and present, who volunteered countless hours to ensure the event’s continued success. Their efforts have helped shape EPR into the much-loved tradition it is today. As one attendee aptly put it, “A fi wi ting this” – this is our thing.

With immense gratitude to everyone who has contributed over the years, we raise a toast to a brighter and even more memorable future for EPR. May the reunion continue to bring together comrades, foster new friendships, and celebrate the spirit of service for many years to come.
